Privacy policy

This website is operated by Wolfepack Strategic Partners, an independent insurance brokerage based in Texas. The legal entity name, Texas agent license, and licensed states appear in the footer of every page and on the About page. You can reach us at Dwolfe@wolfepacksp.com.

This policy covers this website only: the pages you read, the contact form, and the analytics you may choose to allow. It does not cover information you later provide when applying for coverage or contracting as an agent. If you become a customer, the privacy notice that applies to your insurance information is provided separately at that time.

The contact form asks for your full name, your email address, a phone number (optional), a topic, and your message, plus a checkbox confirming that we may contact you about your inquiry. We use what you send to read and answer your inquiry and to keep the records a licensed insurance agency must keep, and for nothing else. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of doing business with us; you can also reach us directly by email.

Do not include health, medical, or financial account details in your message.

When you send the form, four things happen on our side:

• Your submission is sent to us by email through Resend, an email delivery provider, and a short confirmation is sent to the address you gave. If email delivery is not available, the form tells you so and nothing is sent.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the submission came from a person, not an automated script. Cloudflare processes connection and browser signals to make that check, under its own privacy policy. The check loads only on the contact page.
• To limit abuse, our server keeps a count of recent submissions per connection address in memory for about one hour, then discards it.
• Our server log records the outcome of the submission, the topic, the time, and a shortened one-way hash of the connection address. The log never contains names, email addresses, phone numbers, or message text.

Submitting a message does not create an agent-client relationship.

Submitting the form does not bind any coverage. Submissions are reviewed by a licensed agent.

This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard request logs (the address of the connecting device, browser type, page requested, and time) to operate and secure the service, under its own policies.

This site sets no cookies of its own. It keeps up to three small values in your browser's local storage, and all of them stay on your device: your color mode choice (light or dark), your analytics choice (allowed or declined), and, if you decline analytics, a flag that the analytics script honors so that it stays off.

No analytics script loads until you choose Allow analytics in the banner. Until then, and whenever you decline, no analytics request leaves your browser from this site.

If you allow analytics, the site loads Umami, configured without cookies, without page view tracking, and honoring your browser's Do Not Track setting. It counts four actions only:

• A contact form send, with the location of the form on the site.
• A click on an agent contracting button, with the page and the button variant.
• How far an article was read, with the article's address slug and the point reached (a quarter, half, three quarters, or the end of the article).
• A click on a link to an insurance carrier's own website, with the carrier's name.

No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or message text are ever sent to analytics; each event carries only the fields listed above. Umami also receives the page address, the referring page, browser and device type, screen size, and language with each event. Umami states that it does not collect personal information and anonymizes the data it receives.

You can change your mind at any time with the analytics control in the footer. Turning analytics off reloads the page so the script is removed, not merely silenced. Analytics runs on the production site only; preview and staging copies of this site never load it.

Four outside services take part in running this site:

• Vercel hosts the site and keeps request logs.
• Resend delivers the contact form email to us and the confirmation to you.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks contact form submissions for automated abuse.
• Umami counts the four actions above, and only after you allow it.

Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell information about you, and we do not share it with anyone else except as needed to answer your inquiry or as the law requires.

We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed insurance agency. Server request logs are kept by the host on its own schedule. The abuse-prevention count expires within about an hour. Beyond those logs and the browser values described above, nothing else is stored.

You decide what to share and what to allow:

• You can reach us by email instead of using the form.
• You can ask us to correct or delete an inquiry you sent by writing to Dwolfe@wolfepacksp.com.
• You can decline analytics in the banner, or turn it off later in the footer.
• You can clear this site's values from your browser's local storage at any time through your browser settings.

This site is written for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it, unless a record-keeping rule requires us to keep it.

The site is served over HTTPS. Every form submission is validated and checked on the server before anything is sent, and access to inquiries is limited to the people who handle them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please keep health, medical, and financial account details out of any message.

When this policy changes, the date at the head of the page changes with it. A change that affects what we collect or how we use it is described here in plain words.
